During these COVID19 times what happens if I cannot travel due to restrictions?

No worries - we are happy to cancel your booking and issue a full refund on any money already paid. We don't normally ask for payment until a week or two before your arrival so hopefully you should be fairly sure by then if you can travel.

Does The Beach Escape have a telephone?

No, however there is a public pay phone approximately 1 minute walk from The Beach Escape.

Is there mobile phone reception?

Yes. There is full 2g / 3g / 4g coverage (including data) with Telstra, Vodafone and Optus.

Is there Internet access?

Yes we provide free WiFi Internet for our guests. Also, if you have a wireless access point or a mobile phone with data on Optus, Vodafone or Telstra it will also work.

Is there public transport?

A free community bus is operated by the Sorell Council, between Primrose Sands and Sorell.
The bus operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays (public holidays excepted), departing the Primrose Sands General Store at 10am, and departing Sorell RSL at 2pm.

Can I bring my pets to The Beach Escape?

No we do not allow pets on the property. This allows us to keep the property allergy friendly.

Is there space to bring a boat?

Yes you can. There is space to park a boat in the sealed driveway at the front of the property.

What food options are available?

Yes. Please see our I'm hungry section. In general we suggest doing your grocery shopping in Sorell as you pass through.

Does The Beach Escape use tank water?

Yes, The Beach Escape uses rain water stored in water tanks. We provide filtered water jugs in the fridge that you can fill with boiled water if you wish.
